Our Foundation / History

The backbone of Golden Valley Home Care goes back to when Founder Timothy Guess experienced difficulty caring for his grandparents in Oakland, California. At that time, Timothy was living in New York City, repeatedly traveling to the West Coast to assist his grandparents with care. After the loss of Timothy's grandfather, Golden Valley Home Care was launched in an effort to provide affordable quality care for all.

Today, Golden Valley Home Care is recognized as the Silicon Valley's Trusted Choice in Home Care providing experienced and compassionate non-medical care for seniors, new moms, working parents, recuperative care and continuing care.
